Some Information About Me

I illustrate homes as well as design them. I've also been known to take on do-it-yourself projects too.

I've been involved with new home construction, remodels and additions starting in the early 70's.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, 4 adult children, 6 grandkids and traveling.

I have always had an interest in architecture and drawing. To show you when I started getting interested I've included some drawings I did when I was 7 and 10 years old.

I hesitate to show you these, but here they are. You can see I had a lot to learn, I still do.

This is the house where I lived from 3 to 9 years old. I drew it from memory at the time while I was in the school class room. You can see all the angles were a little challenging.

I decided the trees would get in the way if I put all the branches on. Also the horizon line and the sky were a problem too.


Here is the church our family went to. I ran out of room for the steeple. I was confused about the roof line too.

This is the grade school I went to. I was privileged to start kindergarten in this brand new Christian School building.

You can see I was still having problems with the horizon line and where the sky meets the earth.

And here is the new shop building where my dad and his brothers operated their plumbing business. I was 10 years old when I drew this one. You can see I was beginning to make progress as I introduced perspective into my drawings.

By the way I've created the watercolor renderings and photoshop images on this site to help illustrate what's possible for your home. I hope they inspire you and your imagination as well.
